Problem

The friction Ceembee Footies needed to remove from its online shopping experience

Handmade leather shoes and slides need to be seen clearly, selected easily, and purchased without friction. A clean shopping experience that matches the craftsmanship of the product, not a complex flow with unnecessary pages.

Generic marketplace listings don't work for handmade goods. Product photos compete with mass-produced alternatives, and the craftsmanship behind each pair is easy to overlook.

The brand needed a storefront it fully controlled, from photography to checkout. Built and maintained solo, the site had to be lightweight and easy to update without a developer for every new drop or price change.

Solution / Process

Ceembee Footies' clean, product-first e-commerce flow

Designed and built solo as a straightforward e-commerce experience, prioritizing a fast launch over feature breadth.

Core flow kept short to minimize drop-off: landing page to product listing to product detail to cart to checkout.

Catalog organized by style and category so customers browse and find their size in minimal clicks.

Design centers on product photography as the hero element: large visuals, minimal UI clutter, letting the craftsmanship carry each page.

Built mobile-first, since most traffic arrives through Instagram and other social links.

Content and pricing structured to be updated solo, without touching code.

Outcome

Live and fully operational. Ceembee Footies is accepting orders, with a clean shopping experience that puts the handmade product front and centre.
